Gazing up from the terrace at fine, cirrus clouds spreading over a clear blue sky.  Swifts circling overhead climbed higher and higher until they disappeared from view.  This is the slice of sky that makes our balcony garden possible.  Direct sunlight rarely reaches between the buildings but there is always sky light from directly overhead.  Today it’s warm enough that the shade of this green corner is welcome for a while, but I’m ready to go out to catch some more sunshine now.
