The sky cleared towards sunset today and the evening light reflected from the windows of the Louvre was in turn reflected from the water of the river Seine..  It was one of those tricks of the light that looks so appealing to the eye but are not so easy to capture in a photo.  I propped the camera on the quay wall to steady it, failing to notice that this angle makes it appear as if the Louvre is actually perched on the bridge.  Here common sense and experience have to take over the visual analysis.  The building’s on the far bank, the bridge crosses the river, that’s clear isn’t it?  Well no, not quite, but I still like the light….
