The extraordinary new canopy at Les Halles was opened last week. There’s still a way to go on finishing the buildings and the adjoining park but the end is in sight. When the builders’ multistory site cabins are cleared away there will be views out into the new park. For now the canopy structure itself is the focus of attention.
