Seen from the narrow end this building seems to lack substance.  The tapering shape is emphasised by the glazed facade which extends beyond the rest of the building to an insubstantial point. Trees are glimpsed through the building and reflected in the windows, confusing the image further.

The Weekly Photo Challenge Narrow inspired this photo of a hospital building on Boulevard Port Royal.  It also took me back to past photos of narrow buildings and narrow spaces.  Somehow the word narrow seems more appropriate to an enclosed space than to the outside of a building, though narrow buildings occupy narrow spaces….
