I find a walk in the park is good for clearing my head, whatever the weather. Fallen leaves, from many different species of tree, brightened the wet ground in the Parc Floral on a cold and showery afternoon.
Cherry leaves in a subtle mix of plum, peach, beige and soft yellow
Maple leaves shed water from the smooth upper surface but the downy underside holds raindrops
Hornbeam (full of holes) and leathery brown oak leaves
Willow leaves (yellow above, felted grey beneath) with lime (or linden) and green ivy
Oak leaves in a fleeting patch of sunlight
Lemon yellow ginkgo leaves hold their colour on the ground; poplar leaves are yellow when they fall but quickly turn brown – November 2016
Magnolia leaves in shades of green, gold and brown
Feathery leaves from a golden Japanese maple
Re, yellow, purple and brown leaves from a Chonosuki crab apple tree (Malus tschonoskii)

A wonderful collection of different fall leaves! I like the water droplets, too. Beautiful!
