A bright carpet of newly opened tulips leaning towards the sun in the Parc de Bagatelle.
Florist’s hyacinths, starting to go wild. The naturalised bulbs send up a mix of large, densely packed flower heads and loose spikes closer to wild bluebells. Both are a gorgeous blue.
And a drift of late flowering daffodils catching the light.
