At the end of a grey day the drizzle stopped and the cloud lifted a little. Time for a walk in the park before the early winter closing time.

I really enjoyed your photos of the park. The urns of flowers in autumn colours particularly attracted my attention but the whole post is really lovely… thanks!

Thanks for your comment. The urns have just been replanted with cascading chrysanths that have been brought on in the greenhouses in time for Toussaint. The horticulture in the Jardin du Luxembourg is quite impressive!

Loved the glorious colourful flowers (chrysanths?) which brightened up a dark morning in York (something ate my first attempt to send this earlier today!)
