Back in Paris, summer colours brighten a dull wall on a damp grey day.
This street mural in Butte-aux-Cailles is a recent piece by Portuguese artist Hazul Luzah. In an interview by Street Art Paris Hazul described how he develops each piece in response to the colours and ‘energy’ of its location, so it’s no coincidence that the blue of the new mural tones with the stripy jumper of the disappearing boy, a long-lasting piece by local artist Seth. That’s street art with added subtlety.
