Primroses, new shoots and woodland reflections; a waterside stroll in the Bois de Vincennes.
The streams and lakes of the Bois de Vincennes are as artificial as the concrete waterfalls and faux-bois bridges but this vast woodland park in the eastern suburbs of Paris has developed a real sense of wildness since its creation in the 1860s. The park may not be natural but Nature certainly has the upper hand here and the interventions of the Paris parks department are subtly inconspicuous. Its a great place for city dwellers to stroll, run, bike, skate and keep in touch with the changing seasons.

Nature has a way of imposing her dominion over man’s conceits. I just love the water reflections in these shots Judith

Glorious water reflections, especially that first shot. Spring is sprung!

Considering all the other kinds of artificiality, this must be the best one. And the nature takes over eventually anyway.
