Ten o’clock, low tide and a full moon.
The moon rose in a clear blue sky at the end of a day which started in thick mist.
Over Spittal Point a few wisps of cloud were tinged with pink…
and across the estuary the buildings of Berwick were silhouetted against the sun’s afterglow.

I haven’t often seen the sun rise recently – that’s 4.25 here at present – but we’ve had some beautiful early mornings and evenings.
