A tiny bike parked by the imposing door of a school on Île St Louis caught my eye last week. It’s a while since A Bike by the Door 8 but I’ve had a few characterful combinations of bikes and doors waiting for their moment in the limelight.

Besutiful doors and a great theme. I love bikes and doors. I really like the arched door set in the stone entrance. That’s amazing.

I really admire your bike by door series. I might have to rip-off the idea sometime.

I get the impression that characterful, old bikes are more common on the streets of Paris than in most British towns. I’d be glad to see your take on the theme.

I like the one on the top left, where the knobs remind me of eyes. 🙂 I always enjoy the door/bike theme.

A great theme, and one I’ve noticed here and there but never thought to capture. Great thinking and photos Judith!
