A piece of fencing wire, embedded in an old stone wall creates an accidental sculpture.
If I’d seen this in a sculpture park I might (guided by an interpretative label) have paused to admire the playful way in which the wire rises above the wall, sketching a line against the sky or the contrast between the weightlessness of the space enclosed by the wire and the heavy solidity of the wall. But this is the boundary wall of a derelict fertilizer factory…..
