Today the early morning mist lingered damply all day, merging with a heavy layer of dark cloud. In the early afternoon the cloud thinned a little but the sun didn’t break through. A good day for a walk along the river, enjoying the relative brightness of soft light reflected from still water, but not a good day for the camera. So here, in place of any new photos, is a misty image of the river Tweed taken last autumn and a scrapbook of riverside memories.
