On a dank, dark November day…
richly coloured autumn leaves glow in the soft, grey light.
There are still echoes of summer colour too. Some field maple leaves show golden yellow shadowed with green…
and fresh shoots of green grass push between the fallen leaves.
A short walk in Goody Patchy woods, between Spittal and Tweedmouth.
