The clouds towering above Berwick this afternoon had the bulk and character of a storybook land in the sky. The low sun picked out details of the buildings clustered round the bridge and old quay but it’s the sunlit clouds, reflected in still water, that dominate the picture.

Looking back over five years’ photos, I’ve found lots of images where clouds take centre stage rather than blending into the background.  Here’s a scrapbook collection.
