A crisp, cold, Saturday morning on Spittal beach.
Low sun sparkles on the white topped waves….
and throws every footprint and pebble into sharp relief.
Yesterday’s mystery travel photos, as Margaret correctly deduced, were from Blois in the Loire valley of France. The clue was the crowned porcupine, the emblem of Louis XII (1462-1515).
