A nip in the air and a heavy dew. My morning walk turned inland for a change, along the route of a disused railway track, sheltered by wild hedgerows.

Elderberry leaves turn unpredictable shades of yellow and purple
Rosa rugosa leaves simply turn yellow
Hawthorn berries netted with dried goose grass
The rich tones of autumn bramble leaves
A hedge bottom spider’s web laden with dew drops
