Views from a train window on the West Highland Line between Glasgow and Mallaig.
A break in the cloud over Loch Long.
Low cloud over Rannoch Moor, far from any road.
Twin pines near Corrour.
A glimpsed view through trackside trees.
And sunshine on the Glenfinnan Viaduct.
The train runs slowly on this twisting, single track line but the ever-changing landscape makes the journey pass quickly.

The train gives a taste of wild and remote landscapes without getting cold or wet!

Scotrail claim it’s one of the most scenic railway lines in the world, but they might be a bit biased!
