Passing this mural in Rue de la Glacière used to give me the uncomfortable feeling that I was watching someone fall from a high building.
Then I remembered the strange spectacle that I happened to see in rehearsal outside the Hôtel de Ville in May – a celebration of the Euro 16 football championships.
Now I see the mural as flying acrobats and feel much more comfortable about it!
The mural is by Norwegian artist Anders Gjennestadf aka Strøke. He seems to specialise in characters who have no respect for the laws of gravity.
