This small shady space in the 3rd arrondissement was where Beyond the Window Box started. The blog soon moved out into the wider green spaces and streets of Paris.  Now we’ve moved on from the balcony garden too, to a flat in the 5th arrondissement with its own small patch of ‘real’ garden and a green view beyond the window boxes.
